if you haven’t used Jerk seasoning before, it’s absolutely delicious and simply packed with flavor.

NOT-SO-PRO TIPS
If you’d like to make this a one pan meal, you can either boil your spaghetti in a frying pan or cook your shrimp and veggies at the bottom of a saucepan. I’ve done both and still come out with a delicious meal! Plus, fewer dishes.
Jerk seasoning is a Jamaican spice blend that is a little bit sweet and packs some heat! It features Scotch Bonnet peppers and is so yummy! I can usually find it in the seasoning section of the supermarket but one of my favorite creators, Imma at Immaculate Bites (whose recipe was the inspiration for this one!) makes a homemade version you can find here.
I always try to have a bag of uncooked shrimp in my freezer. That way, I can trust the quality and use how every much I need at a moment’s notice. Don’t buy precooked, though, as they are often rubbery.
If you don’t like mushrooms, tomato or arugula, you can absolutely omit them or swap them for your preferred vegetables. You need to try Dreamfields Pasta! It’s higher in fiber and protein than traditional white pasta but tastes just as delicious
As written, this recipe actually only calls for 1/2 teaspoon of Jerk seasoning. If you like spice, add an additional 1/2 teaspoon directly to your pasta sauce. If you prefer milder dishes, start with only a 1/4 teaspoon and adjust to taste.
Depending on the heat of your stove and your taste preferences, you might need additional broth to loosen your sauce to a more liquid consistency. Start with 2 tablespoons and add more if needed
