Without the extra sugar of most frozen drinks, this one won’t make your stomach nearly as angry. So, cheers to one last summer recipe before I return to full Fall form. And cheers to my future husband even if he doesn’t know it yet.

Frozen Melon Margarita
This Frozen Melon Margarita is made with no added sugar and two full servings of fruit, making it a cocktail you can feel good about. It’s fun, pretty and delicious and still manages to pack an impressive punch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cantaloupe frozen
- 1.5 oz one shot, tequila
- 0.75 oz ½ shot, orange liqueur such as triple sec
- 0.4 oz ¼ shot, fresh lime juice
Instructions
- STEP 1Place frozen melon in a food processor or blender. Blend until fruit is fully broken down and has a creamy texture
- STEP 2Stir in tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice
NOT-SO-PRO TIPS
You can definitely make a virgin version of this marg as needed! Omit the tequila, and, if the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water or your favorite fruit juice. For this recipe, I use fresh melon that i slice and then freeze for about 3 hours.
