These Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls have all the flavor of your favorite sandwich with none of the mess and much less of the fat. They’re actually surprisingly easy to make, either baked or in the air fryer, too. Plus, the crunchy egg roll wrapper contrasts so nicely with the cheesy goodness inside making them the perfect Bachelor viewing or game day snack. Bake (or air fry) a batch of these and sit back to watch the madness unfold.

Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ½ green bell pepper chopped
- ¼ small onion chopped
- About 9 oz lean ground beef
- 2 Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese Wedges
- ½ tablespoon reduced fat mayonnaise
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons reduced fat mozzarella cheese
- Salt + pepper
- 8 egg roll wrappers
Instructions
- Step 1 Spray a medium skillet with cooking spray. Add garlic, pepper and onion
- Step 2 Heat vegetables over medium heat for about 2 minutes then add ground beef. Continue to cook, breaking beef up with a wooden spoon or spatula until fully cooked through, about 7 minutes
- Step 3 Add cheese wedges, mayonnaise, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to beef mixture. Stir to combine
- Step 4 Sprinkle cheese over mixture and continue to stir until fully melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper
- Step 5 Divide filling into 8 approximately equal sections
- Step 6 Lay egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape on a clean work surface. Add 1 section of meat mixture, about ¼ cup then fold in side corners and roll tightly. Repeat with remaining egg roll wrappers
- Step 7 If air frying: Preheat fryer to 390 degrees. Spray basket with cooking spray. Add egg rolls, seam side down and fry for 3 minutes, flip egg rolls, spray again then cook for 2 more or until wrappers are browned and crisp
- Step 8 If baking: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Line egg rolls on prepared baking sheet, seam side down and bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until browned and crisp
NOT-SO-PRO TIPS
You should be able to find egg roll wrappers in any major grocery store! Mine keeps them in a refrigerated area of the produce section, near dairy free cheeses. Don’t be intimidated by egg roll wrapping! It’s surprisingly easy. If you want a visual aid, you can google the technique and tons of resources will come up. To make these even leaner, replace the ground beef with ground turkey or ground chicken
